How the Temp°IQ™ Research Repository collects, uses, and protects information. This policy covers this site; the Temp°IQ technology platform at tempiq.com is governed by its own policy.
This Research Repository (the "Site") is a credentialed publication of Temp°IQ's thermal research. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible and to be clear about what we do with it.
Information you give us. When you request access, register interest in a study, or contact us through the Participate form, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, role, affiliation/organization, the study you are interested in, and any message you write. Access to gated areas is granted by a passphrase shared with your group.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to operate the Site. If we enable analytics, we will describe it here and honor your cookie choices.
Cookies and local storage. The Site uses your browser's session storage to remember that you have entered an access code during your visit. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
This Site is informational and is descriptive, not diagnostic. Please do not submit personal health information, patient data, or clinical details through the Participate form or the forum. Formal study participation — including any collection of health information — is handled separately under its own consent process and governance, and may be subject to additional protections such as HIPAA and institutional review (IRB). Nothing on this Site creates a clinician–patient relationship.
We use the information you provide to respond to your request, route your interest to the appropriate study investigators, issue and manage access credentials, operate and secure the Site, and communicate with you about the research. We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information with: the investigators and affiliated personnel responsible for the relevant study; service providers who host or support the Site, under confidentiality obligations; and others where required by law or to protect rights and safety. Aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you may be used for research and reporting.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal or research-governance obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. As a general rule we retain interest-form submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or a longer period is required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) have specific rights, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. To make a request, contact us at study@tempiq.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. Please note the access gate on this Site is a confidentiality measure, not a guarantee of security; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
This Site is intended for credentialed professionals and is not directed to children under 18. Where minors participate in research, that participation is handled separately and requires guardian consent.
We operate from the United States (New York, NY). If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in a country with different data-protection laws.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
